What needs to be done to enable myTI Mobile for an existing TI instance?

myTI Mobile must first be enabled on the specific TI instance. This involves:
  • Assigning a Company Code to the instance
  • Enabling the required web services

Once these steps are completed, users can enter the assigned Company Code in the myTI app to access and sign in to that TI instance.

Is any ERD setup required (e.g., configuration URL, instance identifier, App Store setup, etc.)?

No additional ERD setup is required beyond enabling the Company Code and web services if the app is downloaded directly from:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

However, if a corporate MDM solution is used, additional configuration may be required. In such cases, setup may involve:

  • Apple Business Manager configuration
  • Enterprise app distribution configuration
  • Making the app available within the organization’s managed device ecosystem

This would need to be evaluated based on the organization's MDM structure.

How do users install and authenticate once myTI Mobile is enabled?

Installation:

  • Users download the myTI app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (or via corporate MDM if applicable).
  • They enter the assigned Company Code.

Authentication:

  • Users authenticate using their standard TI credentials: Username & Password or Single Sign-On (SSO), if enabled.
  • After initial login, users may optionally enable Face ID (or biometric authentication) for future logins.

Is there a simple configuration or enablement guide available?

There is believed to be a configuration guide or job aid available. This can be requested from the Training team.

It is recommended to obtain:

  • A step-by-step enablement guide
  • Any user-facing job aid for installation and login
  • Any validation checklist (if required for compliance)

What is the recommended approach to proceed?

The recommended practical approach is:

  1. Confirm myTI Mobile is enabled on the TI instance (Company Code + Web Services).
  2. Enable access for a small pilot user group.
  3. Users should: Install the app, Enter Company Code, Authenticate, Test core workflows end-to-end
  4. Validate: Authentication flow (Password/SSO), Any permission-based access, Mobile feature functionality
  5. Determine if additional documentation, validation, or verification is required.

A short walkthrough session may be beneficial to:

  • Confirm configuration
  • Validate assumptions
  • Clarify any MDM-related requirements
