What’s the turnaround time per document? And bandwidth per day, how many can it process?

Processing is real-time / a couple seconds. Capacity is expandable/elastic; customers upload thousands to tens of thousands per day. Mentioned capability around ~10,000 per hour and can increase.

What file formats are supported?

Automate supports all standard business document formats, including:

  • Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • PDF documents

  • Image files (e.g., scanned documents)

SAS files are currently not supported.

What are the cost considerations for implementing Automate?

The cost structure includes two main components:

  • Implementation cost -the upfront cost to deploy the system.
  • Annual licensing costs - based on document throughput

Pricing Approach: To provide accurate cost estimates for both pilot and full-scale implementation options, TransPerfect needs to understand the customer's monthly document volume across all studies. Typical examples might range from 30,000 to 90,000 documents per month, depending on the organization's size and number of active studies.
